PRESIDENT'S PIECE-OCTOBER 2012

Well here we are entering the Halloween month, and I must say, one of my favorite months (everything seems to have pumpkin spice in it). We have many exciting things happening in October. A birdie tells me we should be expecting the Rotary social event of Rotary social events.  We also have the annual combined Massillon - Canton Rotary meeting prior to “THE” game, and to kick things off this month, we have the Oktoberfest for our local Rotary Foundation.

We are moving forward on a plan for an international club event – details to follow.  Feelers are out for local hands-on programs for our club as well as an additional fundraiser this spring to honor our Heroes .

I’ve also had a meeting with our ADG and the club presidents of Jackson, Canal Fulton, and Perry. The meeting was to discuss how to have the clubs work closer together on events and supporting each other.  With October starting, it’s time to ramp up being busy in our community with other clubs and around the world.

Soooooo let’s roll up those sleeves and get busy.
